Since 1993, the Killiwilly has been the Irish pub in Leipzig – a cosy living room for everyone who prefers rustic to polished. Dark wood, warm light and plenty of stories on the walls: whether you fancy a quiet pint on a weekday or a lively night out at the weekend, you’ll find your spot with us on Karl-Liebknecht-Straße, better known in Leipzig as the “Karli”. We say: an Irish pub doesn’t have to be perfect – it has to feel right.

Whiskey, Guinness & football
A large whiskey selection, from smooth blends to smoky Islay malts, plus Guinness and Kilkenny fresh on tap. Hungry? Our hearty pub food – vegetarian dishes included – and a weekly changing menu have you covered. On match days, football is shown on the big screen, and every now and then there’s live music.
In summer you can sit outside in our quiet backyard or out front on the Karli and watch the world go by. And at night, we’re usually the last ones in Leipzig to close our doors.

Walk-ins are always welcome, but you can also reserve a table – just ask at the bar or give us a call. You can reach our bar on +49 341 211 43 22 during pretty much all opening hours. On Friday and Saturday nights it gets busy, so please bear with us if you don’t get through straight away.
We can seat groups of up to 12 people inside; unfortunately we can’t take larger groups. Depending on the season, you can sit outside on one of our terraces or inside.
